Thank you for visiting our website.  You will find information concerning West Baptist  Church and our ministries.  Our church is a loving and caring church; we want you to feel comfortable calling on us for any of your needs.  We are here to serve Batesville and the surrounding areas.  We want to be your church!

Bible study is an important part of our church.  We have Sunday School classes for everyone in your family.  Our worship Services are a blend of hymns and contemporary music.  On Wednesday evening, we are involved in prayer service, STOP Student Ministries (7-12 grades), and Awana for the children (3yrs-6th grade).  Nursery is provided for each of our Sunday and Wednesday activities.

NEW LIFE FOR A NEW YEAR

A New Year is upon us.  The Scriptures tell us “to redeem the time because the days are evil.”  (KJV) The NIV says, “We are to live as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil.”

I challenge each of you as individuals and as a church to make the most of the opportunities which belong to us at this time.  Forget your past failures, mistakes, and feelings.

 Your leaderships will endeavor to raise the levels of expectations and commitments, as we seek to follow the impressions of the Holy Spirit.  Let’s make church membership meaningful and fulfilling.  Alan Moore and I are asking every Sunday school teacher to sign a Sunday school covenant in an attempt to fulfill God’s call on teacher’s lives.

 The slate is clean for 2010.  We can begin again.  Let’s do it!
