Sam Pucik - Interim Student Minister
E-mail Sam

Hello!

My name is Samuel Pucik and this summer I am the youth interim here at West Baptist Church Batesville.

I grew up in Mississippi, Louisiana (GEAUX TIGERS!), Tennessee, and Arkansas and though most of my family now lives in Conway, AR, my hometown is practically where I go to school.

I will be a junior at Williams Baptist College this fall where I am currently majoring in Biblical Linguistics with a minor in Music. I am called to the ministry and I plan on using all of my abilities

(speaking, leading worship, and writing) for God’s glory and His kingdom- whatever that entails! Over the past few years God has led me to lead worship through music at various events and

camps around Arkansas, and while He has, He’s taught me that every person has different needs that need to be met. Though I cannot meet all of their needs, I can introduce them to the One who can.

I need Jesus Christ. You need Jesus Christ. Every person needs Jesus Christ. Without Christ, I have no life. He is the reason I am alive today and He is the reason that I am here in Batesville.

My personal purpose is to worship, love, and glorify God through the life He has given me and the talents He has blessed me with, and to lead everyone I know to do the same.

Here at West Baptist Church Batesville, my God-given purpose is to serve: this community, more specifically this church, and even more specifically this youth ministry.

28 And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, "Which commandment is the most important of

all?" 29 Jesus answered, "The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your

soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these." 32 And

the scribe said to him, "You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. 33 And to love him with all the heart and with all the

understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." 34 And when Jesus saw that he

answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." – Mark 12:28-34
