Baptism is a symbolic testimony of belief in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It does not save you, but it shows your obedience to the example and teachings of Christ. Baptism is the first physical act you can do following salvation to show your gratefulness and obedience to God.

WHY SHOULD I BE BAPTIZED?

  1. To follow the example of Jesus.
    2. Mark 1:9

  1. Because Christ commands it.
    2. Matthew 28:19-20

  1. It demonstrates that I really am a believer.
    2. Acts 18:8

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF BAPTISM?

  1. It illustrates Christ's death and resurrection.
    2. Colossians 2:12

  1. It illustrates my life as a Christian.
