OTHER MINISTRIES

EDUCATION MINISTRY: Regular weekly program of Sunday School and Discipleship Training encourages Christian development at every age level.

PRAYER MINISTRY: Intercessory Prayer is an important part of our Church. Prayer meeting is every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Intercessory cards are mailed weekly to the ill, hospitalized, bereaved, lost and to those who have special needs.

MISSIONS: West Baptist supports all Southern Baptist Mission organizations.

OUTREACH: Our outreach is centered around the F.A.I.T.H. ministry and works with the Sunday school to reach the lost and minister to our members. This ministry is offered on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and meets for 8 weeks. Churchwide visitation is at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

DEACON FAMILY MINISTRY: Each deacon is assigned several families to visit and minister to throughout the year. Each deacon will visit at least one home monthly.

RECREATION MINISTRY: The church has a Christian Activities Center that is in regular usage for all ages. Volleyball for adults and basketball for all ages is scheduled throughout the year.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY: This ministry is referred to as LLL. It provides fellowship for those 55 and above. There are usually several events per year.
