SAFE HAVEN SHELTER CHALLENGE

Often women and their children who are in abusive situations are forced to leave home with only the clothes on their backs. Through the help of volunteers and supporters of the Family Violence Prevention, Inc., the Safe Haven Shelter (Battered Women’s Shelter) has been established for those who have no one or no where to turn.

The Women’s Council has been made aware of needs for the Shelter and would like to challenge Sunday School classes to participate in helping the Council meet those needs.
